August 17, 2010 Coach Breakdown, Spokane, WA

We were having a great, scenic drive when our transmission lights came on and we immediately pulled over to the side of I90 about 3 miles outside of Spokane, WA.
Our coach just died and we called Good Sam Roadside Assistance.  It took 4 hrs. before someone came to tow us.  The coach was towed to a truck repair shop.  The batteries were fried which shocked us because we had just gotten new batteries in June and had also had our Cummins engine serviced.  Larry is still waiting with our coach to find out what else is going on.  Meantime, I am here in the Days Inn writing my block until he gets back.  I hope we will be able to leave tomorrow to go to Coeur d'Alene.  The alternator had to be replaced as well.  It fried our leveling system, so they are going to get the coach so we can drive it back to Monaco Svc. center
to get that taken care of as well as a leaking air bag that probably was damaged in towing.   We will drive as far as Portland for the night and then head to Monaco.
