Arrived at the Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, CA.  It is the nicest park we have stayed in so far. It is all paved with paved pads, grass flowers, trees and right next to the Sacramento River and the Interstate.  Our spot was facing the fountain area in the center of the park.  Most of the their sites are pull throughs.  There were a couple of groups there for the Memorial Weekend, so it was pretty busy.  I requested being close to the river which was nice, but we were also close to the highway which was very noisy.  The  next time I would move closer to the center or opposite side of the park.  One night road work was being done until late in the night, and it was very noisy.  I would go back there because it is very nice. We did some sight seeing.  We took a ride up to Cascade Lake.  It was such a beautiful turquoise color lake and it was very large.  We could see dormant volcanoes in the distance.  The ride was lovely and well worth the trip.
